The logo design process

Looking for a trusted logo designer in the western suburbs? I’ve worked with clients across Australia for over 17 years and in that time, I’ve refined my logo design process down to a few simple steps. I think the logo design process is pretty seamless and relatively straight forward.  Have a look for yourself.

1.  LOGO DESIGN BRIEF

To make the design process easier, I ask you to complete a comprehensive logo design brief before I start putting any design together.  I want to find out about your business, what colours you like, your style and a few other things that can get us on the same page.

2. CONTRACT

The next part might be boring but it’s a fundamental part. We work out delivery dates, terms of services and legal ins and outs.

3. DIGITAL SKETCHES/ROUGHS

Next step is to present you with my logo concepts.  I produce 3-4, sometimes 6 digital designs of your logo design concepts. This is your chance to provide further direction before I begin to refine the designs.

4. REFINING THE DESIGN

This is where I put the finishing touches on your logo design concepts based on your feedback. Most clients find choosing one design is the hardest part of the logo design process!

5. COMPLETION

Once completed, your approved logo design is prepared for print and web.  I supply you with a variety of file formats to use over the various applications.

6. NEXT STEP

Armed with your next logo, we can now develop a business card, letterhead, email signature, flyer, social media templates…..the possibilities are endless.
